"A Priesthood for All"
Levitical priests were limited to the nation Israel. Melchizedek’s priesthood was universal; it applied to all ages. He was a priest of the “Most High God,” the God of heaven and earth. He was a priest for both Gentile and Jew just as Jesus became High Priest for both Jew and Gentile.
